| Surrounding 'Dolly' are three acres of terraced gardens with a stream running through, set in 1200 acres of National Trust owned meadow, mountain and forest where you can walk all day over the Rhinogs without crossing a road. For the more adventurous, why not climb Cader Idris -- just a short drive away, and Snowdon only a little further. Plus all the other attractions that this area of Wales offers. However, if all this sounds too exhausting, for the restful soul there is always fishing. Or why not just relax and be pampered; to ensure your uninterrupted peace, we have no weddings, functions or conferences to disturb you.

| Enjoy afternoon tea in our elegant sitting room, the three large windows give superb views over the gardens to the valley beyond. Across the hall is the centre of the house -- the Dining Room of course, where our award-winning chef, Joanna, provides a wide choice of menu. 'Imaginative modern British' best describes the style of cooking. Vegetarian options are always on the menu, and all dishes can be adapted to accommodate other diets. To accompany your dinner we have an extensive cellar of some 150 wines, while pre-dinner drinks may be enjoyed in the Conservatory Bar where the plants do battle with the bottles. Each of our bedrooms has a different decorative theme and is named after a local river. All have colour television, radio, direct dial telephones, hair dryers and hot drink facilities, etc. |
